The heroes atChain of Hopeventure into Kansas City’s most blighted neighborhoods, looking for animals who’ve been ignored, neglected, or mistreated. In addition to saving abandoned animals, this organization educates uninformed pet owners, and provides survival supplies for animals in need.
Chain of Hope gives away over 1000 pounds of pet food alone per week to struggling pet owners, spends thousands of dollars every week on medical care for pets in need, and receives 30+ calls a day reporting mistreated animals, and sometimes those calls come too late.
