We recommend upgrading to Diamond Naturals or Fromm Classic
Large Breed from Purina ONE.
Diamond Naturals is a Missouri family-owned company that
costs 40 cents less per pound and does not have any corn or by-products with
similar protein levels.
Fromm Classic is a Wisconsin family-owned company that cost
about the same but has a much better ingredient panel and no by-products, corn, soy, or wheat is found in any Fromm pet food.
Most National Brands, like Purina Pro Plan, use fillers, such as Wheat, Corn, & Soybean Meal to add calories. These fillers are some of the main causes of allergens in dogs and provide little nutrition to our pups. Major brands are not required to disclose what is in Chicken By-Product, and most of the time it is what is leftover after all the good stuff has been used.
