Be a part of our pack and spend your days washing, brushing, and petting dogs as a groom bather at Brookside Barkery & Bath! Our groom bathers work alongside some of the cutest dogs in Kansas City. As an all-natural pet food store and grooming facility, our shampoos, flea treatment, and de-shedding treatment are all chemical and silicone-free. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed at management’s discretion.

Duties include:

·        Bathing and drying dogs in preparation for grooming

·        Maintain cleanliness in groom bathing area

·        Coordinate with other team members

·        Maintain effective performance under pressure

·        Help with laundry as needed

·        May perform similar duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

·        Must be at least 16 years old

·        Ability to work independently and with others

·        Good communication skills

·        Attention to detail

·        Passion for pets & their well-being

·        Displays initiative

·        Able to tolerate standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs

·        Reliable transportation

·        Time management skills

.       Bathing experience required 

 Job Type: Full-time

Job Hours: 30-40 hours per week, 8 hour shift (weekends possible as directed by supervisor)

Pay: From $15/hour

Work Location: In person
