We’re excited to announce the 2nd Annual Mutts & Movies on Saturday, August 22, 2026, hosted by Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC) at the iconic Boulevard Drive-In Theatre!
Brookside Barkery & Bath and Instabark are proud to serve as presenting sponsors for this special evening celebrating pets, community, and the lifesaving work PRCKC does for animals and the families who love them.
Mutts & Movies is more than an outdoor movie night. It’s a fundraising event that brings together together pet lovers, local vendors, and rescue groups for an evening of community, entertainment, and support for animals in need.
Best of all, 100% of event proceeds go directly toward supporting Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC)’s mission!
Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC) is a nonprofit dedicated to keeping pets healthy, safe, and with the families who love them. Rather than focusing solely on rehoming animals, PRCKC works to prevent pets from entering shelters in the first place by helping families access essential resources and affordable pet care.
Their services include low-cost veterinary care, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, pet food and supplies, and other support for pet owners facing financial or accessibility challenges. By removing barriers to care, PRCKC helps strengthen the bond between people and their pets while working toward a community where families don’t have to give up a beloved animal simply because they need a little extra help.
🐶 An Evening for Pets, People & a Great Cause
The festivities begin from 6–8 PM with the Animal WelFair, featuring booths, vendors, games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with Kansas City’s pet-loving community.
Then, once the sun goes down, settle in for a double creature feature!
After brief announcements, the movies are expected to begin around 8:30 PM with:
